Key Insights

from our work over the years

“No Shoe Fits All”. OVC (Orphans and other Vulnerable Children) interventions require customised plans because the OVCs come from different backgrounds and not all of them have similar life experience.

- Mr. Wilfred Otieno

Chairman, JOWI-F

Following increased number of home visits by our Volunteers, JOWI-F is now better positioned to identify each OVC needs and tailor required level of support for future planning to ensure enhanced, holistic and integrated support for better outcomes.

- Ms. Alice Achieng’

Patron/Founder Trustee

Successful implementation of a “Child-Focused” and “Family-Centered” household (HH) approach requires adequate time to enable quality service delivery. Elaborate “Child-Focused” and “Family-Centered” interventions deployed proved cumbersome for JOWI-F during 2021 service delivery and activities implementation.

- Mr. George Abungu

Treasurer
